Sania’s father Imran who also manages her career, called off Sania’s engagement to Mohammed Sohrab Mirza.

Sania didn’t indulge into the details of why and what of the matter, but confirmed that her engagement with sohrab Mirza was off. TOI quoted Sania as saying “We were friends for half a decade, but found ourselves incompatible during our engagement period. I wish Sohrab the best in life,” she said.

After their engagement there were doubts weather Sohrab would cope with the high profile Sania who has widely travelled and very popular.

Sania, looks t be struggling with the differences for the last couple of months, as her results on court show.

Sania will fly to Malaysia on Friday, where she plays in the Fed Cup Asia Oceania Group II competition, starting Feb 2, 2010.
