Ajith-Nayantara action entertainer Aegan, will have the widest ever release overseas for a Tamil film in a record 150 screens on October 24.
The buzz on Aegan is getting bigger. Yuvan songs are catching up, and Ajith will ensure a big opening. The producers of the film Ayngaran International are the biggest Tamil film distributors overseas and they are going to market it aggressively.
A wide release will ensure that the overseas audiences get to see the film in the first weekend itself. So it is but natural that they book all available screens playing Tamil films.
Bharat Creations the US distributors of Aegan is releasing it big. Says Mohan Ruthirakotti: “This is the first time a Ajith movie will be releasing with more than 12 prints in USA. The number of prints are double when compared to previous Ajith’s blockbuster Billa. Special celebrations are being planned at across USA at all theatres to celebrate Diwali 2008”.
